Spimori privacy details
Who we are and what this covers
Spimori is a hair salon at 540 Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us when you book an appointment, send the contact form, sign up to our list or simply browse spimori.com.

What we collect
We keep the list short and practical. Anything that does not help us cut hair, mix colour or contact you about a booking is not collected.
- Your name, phone number and email address when you book or enquire
- The service you booked, the stylist, and the date and time
- Colour formulas, patch test results and notes from the chair
- Any message you type into the contact form
- Basic technical details such as browser type and the pages you visited
We do not ask for your date of birth, your Medicare number or your payment card details. Card payments are handled by the terminal provider and never stored on our system.
Why we hold it
Booking information exists so we can confirm appointments, send a reminder the day before and get in touch if something changes. Colour notes exist so the next stylist can repeat the same result without starting from scratch.
Contact form messages are used only to answer your question. If you join our email list, we use your address to send occasional salon news and nothing else. You can leave the list at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email.
Who sees your details
Your name and appointment time are visible to the stylists working that day and to the person at the front desk. Colour notes are visible to the colour team. Nobody outside the salon sees them unless you ask us to share them.
A small number of services sit outside the salon: the booking platform, the email provider and our website host. Each of these handles data under a written agreement and only on our instruction. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
How long we keep it
Booking records stay on file for five years for tax and insurance reasons. Colour and patch test notes stay for as long as you remain a client, because they are the working history of your hair. Contact form messages are deleted once the question is settled, usually within three months.
If you ask us to close your record, we remove everything that is not required by law and confirm in writing when that is done.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep. There is no fee for a request and we do not require a reason.
Send the request to spimori@hotmail.com with enough detail for us to find your record, such as the name you booked under. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
